Why spend money if you don’t have to? Those are words to live by if you are truly trying to live frugally. Our family lives on one income willingly, and we see tremendous value in living a meager lifestyle (maybe I’ll post more about our family’s philosophy in the future). To most, it may sound terrible and impossible: we don’t have cable, we rarely go out to eat, we don’t take extravagant trips, we don’t buy the latest clothes or gadgets, and our kids don’t have the latest anything. I hope to help those who also try to live on less achieve their goals so they can spend more time focusing on what is most important to them.
