Easy DIY Project: Painting a “Modified” Chevron

Chevron patterns are very popular. So are herringbone patterns. This is an easy way to paint a modified chevron (almost like a herringbone) on just about any surface. I painted the front of a wooden box for my command center using this method. All you need are these supplies: Painters Tape, Paint, Brushes, and Sandpaper. I decided to sand the design once I was done to make the final product look a little weathered and worn. I am very happy with how it turned out. This would work great on canvas, wood, or even on an entire wall! The distance between the stripes is up to you. You can even vary it so that each painted stripe is a different width! Design possibilities are endless! Happy crafting!
